Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 28, 2026
Up the Hill Exclusive is committed to making upthehill.net accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to provide an inclusive experience and to meet recognized accessibility standards.
01Our commitment
We want all visitors — regardless of ability or technology — to be able to perceive, understand, navigate, and interact with our Site. Digital accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we work to improve the Site’s usability on a continual basis.
02Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities, at three levels: A, AA, and AAA. WCAG 2.1 Level AA is also the standard widely referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
upthehill.net partially conforms with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conforms” means some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the standard. We are working to reach full conformance.
03Measures we’ve taken
- Semantic HTML structure with landmarks and a logical heading order.
- A “Skip to content” link for keyboard and screen-reader users.
- Visible keyboard focus indicators on all interactive elements.
- Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Full support for reduced-motion preferences — animations, the custom cursor, and smooth-scroll are disabled when your device requests reduced motion.
- High-contrast text and color choices for readability.
- Responsive layouts that work across screen sizes and zoom levels.
- Accessible names and labels on links, buttons, and controls.
04Technical specifications
Accessibility of the Site relies on the following technologies to work with your browser and any assistive technologies installed: HTML, WAI-ARIA, CSS, and JavaScript. These are relied upon for conformance. The Site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers and common screen readers.
05Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible:
- The Site features a cinematic, animation-rich design. Where animation could be a barrier, we respect your system’s reduced-motion setting — enabling it removes most motion.
- Embedded third-party content (such as YouTube videos) is subject to those providers’ accessibility features, which are outside our control.
If any of these limitations affects you, please contact us (below) and we will provide the information or assistance you need.
06Tips for the best experience
- To minimize animation, enable “Reduce motion” in your operating system (macOS: System Settings → Accessibility → Display; iOS: Accessibility → Motion; Windows: Settings → Accessibility → Visual effects).
- Use Tab/Shift-Tab to navigate and Enter/Space to activate controls.
- Most browsers support page zoom with Ctrl/Cmd and “+”.
07Assessment approach
Up the Hill Exclusive assessed the accessibility of this Site by self-evaluation against WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We review accessibility on an ongoing basis as the Site changes.
